Your words are brave and inspiring. It is very unfortunate that so many of us had to grow up without role models or elders telling us that “this is not ok.”

Internalized misogyny is a concept that I, too, have battled with and, whenever I think of my younger self, I feel sorry. But, we have a voice now, and we can communicate this to the next generation of men and women. Maybe someday it will be possible for Women to walk on the streets without fear.

Thank you for sharing this piece. Society is going to find it incredibly difficult to erase us and eventually give up because it underestimates our anger, power, and strength.
